Ugh...
10.06.2008
I was thinking of whether to have dinner or not, then omelet came to my mind…There are carrots in the fridge and some leftover meat from the jabchae…
So I went to the kitchen and started working on the omelet. Shredded a whole carrot and onion, minced up garlic and chopped a stalk of spring onion. Plopped all of them in a bowl and mixed everything with the sliced beef, soy sauce, sugar & salt, black pepper and some nameless spices I found in a red container. Yeah, I’m pretty into jabchae right now haha…
Oh yeah, I couldn’t bear to leave out the mushrooms and I plopped some in too…And waited for the thing to marinate…
It already looked like a mess…
LOL…
Cooked them up in a saucepan and battered two eggs. Guess what…I think I should be taking 4 or 5 eggs because the two eggs weren’t enough. The *thing* just absorbed most of it, so I decided to scramble it.
Ugh…
I could already sense the wrongness in this, but what the hell, I’m too tired of instant noodles and I needed the workout, so that’s why I’m cooking right now…
It’s just for the fact that, I was too bored at that time and too lazy to think that I just added the whole thing up and throw them in a saucepan without thinking much of the outcome…
Because the *thing* tasted weird…
Seriously…*face turns green*
So I did a post-mortem in my mind while forcing myself to eat the *thing*, you know…to divert myself from thinking how weirdly unusual the *thing* tasted…
I can’t afford to throw them away…
The mushrooms were a major contributor to the weird taste…And I should halve the ingredients so there wouldn’t be enough for them to turn into a semi-shattered blob in the pan and eat up my eggs…
Uugghh….

---------------------------------------------------------- <10.03pm>…
So here I am in my room listening to Utada Hikaru’s Prisoner of Love (current addiction) over and over again hoping it would help take away this lingering weird taste in my mouth…
And I feel sticky all over…
I need a shower…
*showers*
Hmm…The taste is gone…Thank God…
Now I’m sleepy…
Bye peeps~
What We Are
Here is what I think…
History and basis of forming:
We, the D&Ds now, have known each other since the early semester of our Uni life. We didn’t have a name just yet, it wasn’t even in our heads, well, maybe some…We hung out together in UBD and out of UBD so much that we have become so close, not only everyone clicks, we share the same interest: to have fun and be together because we enjoy each other’s company.
We even helped each other out when it’s needed. The time spent so much with just us together has made many of us realize how somewhat special we are as a whole. This *unity for so long* has sparked an idea to actually name ourselves…The D&D society.
Terminology:
D&D can only be revealed to members exclusively.
Society: Doesn’t mean that we are big, like a company or an organization, society was chosen simply because it fits us, and it’s fancy.
Progress since formation:
.The D&D has now a hierarchal ladder, consisting of the President, VP, Secretary, Treasurer and The Members. The main objective is to maintain, learn about responsibility and be more organized.
.Several hanging outs, outings.
Generalisation:
We exist simply because we enjoy each others company and to whatever each individual in this Society wants to achieve, he/she can share it with no hesitation, and we can be there for you.
And I, the Co-VP, personally think that whatever we do, what we are trying to portray is that whatever comes in our life, we can show that we are still able to be together, within this Society where many of us are of different background. Indirectly, the hierarchy allows us to discipline ourselves and get used to have responsibilities. But the existence of this Society is not to train leaders or anything of the sort, we just think of what is best for us in general, and with agreement with others, we get on with it, just so we could live our lives better.
For now, we just simply are a group of people enjoying each other’s company. And there has yet many more to be done, and I personally welcome new ideas. And with that, new people too…Since, New people = More ideas.
The path this Society will take will depend on what we, ourselves, want
Holidays...
Ugh...I have done nothing impressive in this three month holiday, well except for the Jab Chae and Fettucine Alfredo I made...Huhu.
Looking back on what I've done so far, i find it easy to generalise what I have done...

Hmm..There is still a month or so left...Hmmmmm...
And yeah, I decided to share the recipes with you peeps huhu...Sory, no pics k...Uhuu
Jab Chae
A handful of thinly sliced beef/chicken...Hmm...handfull..Oh well
1 tblspn of chopped Spring onion
1 Onion (i shredded them)
1 Carrot, (Shredded them too, cos I like shredding so much, its actually fun)
Sesame oil
Cooking Oil
Potato and Sweet Potatoe Vermicelli (i tried with rice ver. and it turned out quite well...)
Soy Sauce
Sugar
Salt
Black pepper
Spinach, as much as you like..
Egg
Shitake/Chinese Mushroom
Minced Garlic
Soak the mushrooms for 10-15mins, cut the stems and and thinly slice them. Mix and marinate with beef, 2 tblspn soy sauce (I used the sweet one), 1 tblspn sugar, pinch of salt and pepper, minced garlic, and spring onion. I recommend you leave it for at least 20mins, judging from experience heheh.
Cut the spinach and boil for 2 mins. Cool and drain with tap water. season with a oinch of salt and sesame oil to taste.
Boil the vermicelli for 6-8 mins, or just follow the instruction at the back of the pack.
Meanwhile, shred the carrot and onion. batter the egg and cook. Once done, slice into thin pieces.
Take out the vermicelli, cool and drain.
Cook the beef with a bit of oil. Once cooked, add the veggies and noodle and use medium low heat until the veg are cooked. Season with soy sauce and sesame oil to taste.
Got the recipe from lilyng2000.blogspot.com
Fettucine Alfredo
Parmesan
Cream Cheese
Milk
Butter
Fettucine
I'll leave you to do decide how much fettucine u want to cook and the rest too. I bought the 500g packet and only used 1/5 of it and it was enought for two. And I used 3/4 of a handful of parmesan, half a handful of cream cheese, 3/4 cup of milk and half the amount for butter..LMAO
Melt the butter, then add the milk and cheese and stir until evrythin is smooth. I guess you can make the sauce separately, but once the sauce is done u can just add the fett and toss until coated well.
Next mission: Mee Mamak and Crepe!!
Thats all for now...

Played this game called Miss Management, search it online...Gawd, its addictive...
Then showered and got ready for the D&D Movie-Watching Ceremony at the Mall...
What Happens In Vegas is nice...And is far sweeter than P.S I Love You...Seriously...That movie is overly exaggerated...Well, to me at least...
Went to Qlap's CZ for a D&D meeting, which turned out to be a surprise for Anis..Umm...Well...The meeting was still on though...Well, is, rather...I'm typing my blog out AND being in the meeting...
